Following his visit to Skikda, the President of the African School Games Organizing Committee (COJAS) carried out a working visit to the provinces of Constantine and Setif, aiming to assess the ongoing competitions and inspect athlete accommodation facilities.
The objective of the visit was to conduct a direct on-site evaluation of the event’s organization and to monitor various aspects related to accommodation, competition logistics, and the quality of services provided to the participating African delegations.
The visit included tours of the sports villages in both provinces, where the COJAS President inspected the living and dining conditions and assessed the level of services offered to athletes and technical staff. He praised the efforts made by local authorities and organizing committees to ensure the comfort of guests and to create an environment conducive to sporting and cultural exchange among African youth.
He also visited several sports venues to observe the progress of the competitions, expressing satisfaction with the adherence to the planned schedule and commending the organizational efficiency and discipline that characterized the games in both cities.
As part of coordination efforts with local authorities, two official meetings were held between Mr. Brahmia and the Secretaries General of the Constantine and Setif Provinces. The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation and coordination to guarantee the success of this major continental event.
The visit was also attended by members of the Coordination Committee of the African National Olympic Committees, reflecting the strong continental interest in this unique school sports event and reaffirming confidence in Algeria’s ability to host large-scale sporting events professionally.
